As a federal association, the Industrieverband Blechumformung e.V. with its headquarters in Hagen represents the companies of the sheet metal forming industry and their partners. The members are predominantly active in stamping technique. They are medium-sized family businesses with a high degree of specialisation and competitive experience. The more than 230 association members are mostly suppliers to the automotive and electronics industry, mechanical and plant engineering, the furniture and construction industry as well as medical technology.

Increase competitiveness efficiently with Manufacturing Execution System
A Manufacturing Execution System (MES) offers an optimal basis for increasing efficiency in industrial production. A successful increase in efficiency only works if classic production targets such as quality management, production control or the appropriate material management are pursued. The MES D.A.CH Association discusses various scopes of application and useful effects of MES in appropriate conferences. The aim of the association is to make MES systems accessible in various market segments. The MES D.A.CH Association contributes to making industry in Germany, Austria and Switzerland more competitive.

We at schwer + kopka have been an associate member of the IBU association since 2003.
Deutscher Schraubenverband e.V. Hagen
Joint basic research, innovative development competence, efficient quality management along the value chain and comprehensive internal and external consulting form the basis for the technical work of the Deutscher Schraubenverband DSV (German Association of Fastener Producers). It represents the interests of screw, nut and rivet manufacturers, including those of the most important German producers. The associated members include suppliers, service providers and manufacturers of machines and fastening devices which are important for the industry.
We at schwer + kopka have been an associate member of the DSV since 1994 and have been involved in technical work groups dealing with production and mechanical engineering for the production of screws since then. Nearly 70% of the production companies represented in the association are among our customers.
KIST Kompetenz- und Informationszentrum für die StanzTechnologie Dortmund e.V.
In February 2006, the KIST Competence and Innovation Centre for Stamping Technique was officially opened in the Technology Park in Dortmund. This training centre is unique in Europe. The state-of-the-art building combines high technology with modular process-oriented qualification for industry and trade. With the training program KIST has created an offer to improve the competitive position in metal processing companies engaged in stamping and forming technology and to support companies in solving issues relating to production or rather manufacturing technology.
We at schwer + kopka have been a member of KIST since 2017.
Currently, a Bruderer high-performance stamping machine, equiped with a SK 500 TP monitoring system, is being used in the testing and training center.
